This is an old patchwork quilt top with blue floral feed sack centers in blocks. It was hand pieced (approximately 1930's) by Bertha Dunavent of San Antonio, TX and recently machine quilted by Peggy McCaffrey of Brevard NC. Painstakingly quilted using Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting and white 100% cotton backing. The quilt was quilted in a "chantilly lace" pattern using 100% cotton thread. It measures 67 inches by 85 inches. This is a lovely antique quilt top given a new life. Will add charm and beauty to any room or decor...rustic or modern.
