Quilt Backing Fabric
This page contains extra wide quilt backing fabric at wonderful low prices. When you use wide backing fabric for your quilts you no longer have to piece fabric to fit your quilt top and worry about pressing seams open and which direction the seam should be when the quilt is placed on the longarm to be quilted.
Average quilt sizes
Twin 63 X 87 Order 2 yards backing fabric
Queen 84 X 92 Order 3 yards backing fabric
King 100 X 92 Order 3 yards backing fabric
Quilt top sizes vary quite a bit. Please measure your top in the middle in both directions and at the top bottom and both side take the largest of these sizes and add 8 in. Please feel free to call or e-mail with your quilt dimensions and we will calculate the yardage of backing fabric together.
